What is RF Microneedling - Genius RF - Sylfirm
Micro-needling is the process of using very small sterilized needles on the skin. Traditional micro needling utilizes a stamp or roller and is not associated with a light or energy device. The GENIUS®/Sylfirm® handpiece contains 49 microscopic needles that are deployed through the skin’s surface. Once deployed, the micro-needle tips conduct radiofrequency energy into predetermined depths of the dermis.

Can RF Microneedling - Genius RF - Sylfirm Be Combined With Other Procedures
GENIUS® /Sylfirm® can be combined with many other different treatments such as IPL to remove dark spots and broken capillaries. Dermal Fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm can enhance the effect of skin tightening. Typically 2-4 treatments are recommended for optimum effect. These treatments should be spaced approximately 4 weeks apart.
Although you may see positive results from your treatment session right away, it may be a month or two that you see the final result. By that time, collagen production will have kicked in, and your skin should sport a more youthful glow with a visible reduction in skin laxity and fine lines.
Are There Any Side Effects and or/downtime?
Side effects following GENIUS® or Sylfirm® are mild in nature, making this minimal downtime treatment. For patients with very vascular skin, there may be mild pinpoint bleeding and a very small chance of bruising. More typically the skin may stay red for 2-3 days. Most patients can resume their normal routine the next day.
